Manistee River Map Glengary to Tippy Dam Michigan

Local map of Manistee River from Glengary to Tippy Dam, Michigan. Showing main roads and approximate drive times to several locations along the water.

Salmon run the Manistee River and the Little Manistee river, the Weir is closed now however, there are still a lot Salmon in the Little Manistee River to be caught.

The Tippy Dam is a popular fishing hole and has been for years for Salmon Fishing. Just below Tippy Dam is one of the finest Trout, Steelhead, and Salmon fishing areas in Michigan. During the fall Salmon Run Anglers line the banks shoulder to shoulder trying to catch King Salmon that can weigh well over 20 pounds.

All along the Manistee River you will find river access where you can pull over park and walk down to the rivers edge.
